Before and after-school programs are being discontinued due to budget cuts which can have a negative impact on our under-served children in the area. The COLA STEM Initiative was started to eliminate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning deficiencies.

COLA Non-Profit Organization partners with FIRST®  (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and LEGO® Education to introduce STEM competencies to children ages 4 - 14.  We follow FIRST®  guidelines and break off into teams to learn computer programming, LEGO®  building, Project Presentation and self-confidence.

We look to start new teams and grow substantially year by year, giving children in the St. Louis City and surrounding areas STEM opportunities that are not available.
